Widecombe fair gift box
3 x 35m twool spools
Widecombe fair is famous not just in Devon, but across the world. It all started more than 150 years ago with a cattle show, a Whiteface Dartmoor sheep sale and an old folk song telling the story of Uncle Tom Cobly and all. The Fair is held annually on the 2nd Tuesday in September and is traditionally a very special occasion for Whiteface Dartmoor sheep known locally as Widecombes.
To celebrate this fair we have produced a special Widecombe gift pack of twooly scrumptious moorland colours containing 3 x 35m twool spools of Posh purple, Mellow yellow and Green fingers.
A super sustainable general purpose garden twine with exceptional strength and longevity, it is soft to handle and kind to plants and meets the needs and more of the increasingly environmentally aware modern gardener.
Made from Dartmoor wool and entirely manufactured in the UK, twool continues doing good after it's working life by releasing nitrogen as it bio-degrades on the compost heap.
